Rain Thieves
by Robert May on Proper Pleasant Poems
Softly on the roof tonight,
But spurred by wind sharp
With lingering spite;
Cutting brick and thieving
What little sleep we find beside
Dull embers' light.
Softly on the roof tonight,
But spurred by wind sharp
With lingering spite;
Cutting brick and thieving
What little sleep we find beside
Dull embers' light.
